NXT Takeover: Back to Brooklyn Review

Or is it Brookyln II?

Anyways...

WHAT A DAMN PAY PER VIEW NXT HAD HERE, THE CROWD WAS ELECTRIC MAGGLE!

After the show I was literally speechless my voice was gone and so was my muscles I couldn't believe what I had seen!

Note:

Before the match of Austin Aries vs No Way Jose there was two dark matches of:

Tye Dillinger vs Blake

Winner: Tye Dillinger

Authors of Pain vs TM61

Winner: Authors of Pain

Matches:

Austin Aries vs No Way Jose

Winner: Austin Aries

Description: Conga Line anyone? No Way Jose rallied up a bunch of folks for a dancing line, which surprisingly had the leader of an Austin Aries supporter hmmm. Anyways the greatest man that ever lived would come out to massive fanfare and started the match with a bomb. Austin like before was able to get the furious side of Jose out, as with a couple slaps and smacks Jose's face was evidently filled with rage. Both of the stars were able to elevate their character, but in the end Austin Aries had Jose in his submission hold and he had no choice but to tap. Guess parties are now banned in the Full Sail University.

Ember Moon vs Billie Kay

Winner: Ember Moon

Description: And they said the stunner couldn't be better. Ember Moon made an emphatic entrance and showcased her abilities to the max, the high flying extravaganza was putting on a solid match one good enough for a debut but oh no that wasn't enough for the red eyed demon. She went to the top rope and hit one of the best top rope moves a women had ever pulled off. Ember did like a flip into a stunner it was amazing the crowd didn't stand up throughout the entire match but as soon as that move was in action everybody's feet were up and jaws were down. A feud with her an Asuka is one sure to fill some seats. Don't worry about Bayley going to the main roster we have a woman good enough to fill her shoes.

Bobby Roode vs Andrade Cien Almas

Winner: Bobby Roode

Description:GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS, Cien put on one helluva an effort he dominated most of the match and I could say he was the winner in terms of wrestling but the crowd was just too invested in the GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS one, so after a Pumphandle Slam which Bobby dubs the "Glorious Bomb" the match ends.

NXT Tag Team Championships

The Revival vs Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa (DIY)

Winner: The Revival

Description: In my mind this was match of the night it was an amazing contest, maybe a little too much false finishes but it really got the heart pumping especially the one spot where the ref would count the three but Dash would pull the leg just in time. The finish was almost perfect the crowd was chanting "NO! NO! NO!" but the leg submission was just too much for Johnny Wrestling so he tapped out. In the end everyone was thinking of the heel turn for the decade Ciampa would be filled up with hate for Johnny being the one to tap out here, and the one to get the roll up on him at CWC but it didn't happen but it would surely happen in the future. A heel Ciampa would raise some hands especially with the striking ability, imagine the chops!

NXT Women's Championship

Asuka vs Bayley

Winner: Asuka

Description: Man was my heart broken and restored in less than 30 seconds. I have to say in my mind I was thinking that maybe just maybe Bayley could become the first ever two time NXT Women's Champion, I mean Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch were at ringside for the event and it was happening in Brooklyn the place where she won her first ever piece of gold, not to mention she was on the road of redemption. The match started off with Asuka getting most of the offense with a lot of bum moves and hard hitting strikes but Bayley would come in with her own spots of offense. Soon enough Asuka would have her Asuka Lock, locked in but unlike last time Bayley would fight her way to the point where she got out, however the same event would happen to another escape. Unfortunately, even though the road of success seem to be in Bayley's path Asuka would have Izzy's role model in her on her knees and after three sharp kicks the match ended. Asuka and Bayley showed thier repsects to each other and Bayley would go on to hug the horsewomen as well as Izzy, but not Balor (Why?) The chants of "Thank You Bayley!" would echo the stadium and rightfully so, Bayley had revolutionized the Women's Division and she surely deserves nothign but the best.

NXT Championship

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Samoa Joe

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Description: Just the whole backstory and buildup of this match was enough to get everyone ready to lose their voices in this match. From the enraged Samoa Joe ready to rip the head of Shinsuke to the calm cool and collected attitude of Nakamura, everything was set and stone, but then the lights when dark and our spirits sank low. The violin music was in our hearts but then the artist stopped and picked a string, green waves filled the titantron then red spots then black, LET THE VIOLIN PLAY!!!! The crowd sang along in unison while Shinsuke fed off of the energy in the crowd but one thing would stay the same almost everyone loved the Japanese sensation. Samoa Joe would come in fast and easy already trying to swing at Nakamura, and finally the match started. The match was fast, easy, and quick but the only thing I remember was Shinsuke Nakamura hitting the Kinshasa and then my ears went deaf. The King of Strong Style had the crowd roaring almost eveyrone was wearing a Shinsuke shirt red was everywhere including Summerslam.

Final Thoughts:

NXT Takeover: Back to Brooklyn was an amazing show and exceeded any expectations, and proved that NXT still has it.
