We Could Finally Be Barbarians
What a Damn Weekend It Is Going to Be Fellow Partners!
IGN recently got the chance to take a sneak peek look at 2K's newest game WWE 2K17
While they weren't able to take a look at most of the MyCareer and Creation Suite, they were able to look at some gameplay and some backstage features.
First off let's discuss the submission system:
Now there still is that arc simulation available in the game but you could also swap that out for the more robust and exciting button mashing system.
Ladder Matches:
Now this is where things start to pick up speed. Now you are able to take a ladder out form under the apron and then lay it so it extends from the barricade to the ring, hopefully for a diving OMG moment. Also the new way to retrieve the title or breifcase is by having this little minigame, where you have to insert this ball into the circle at a specific time and specific place, now it's going to be quite hard due to how there are 8 bars but there is no other word on how this would play out.
Gameplay:
In a few words, there are new moves, animations, and better flowing of the matches.
Backstage Brawls:
This doesn't go only for Backstage segments but it was inntroduced in the reveal, so whenever the two superstars are in different parts of the arena, say one superstar is on the stage while the other is in the ring, the camera won't zoom out instead they would go into simple split screens. Now there are some new places for Backstage Brawling such as The Authority's office where Triple H would stare you down, outside in the hall, the interview room, and in the crowd. As of now there is no parking lot brawl but what we have is fine. There are some OMG Moments that were revealed such as Seth Rollins superkick in the locker room, and Brock Lesnar's spear into the TV.
